It is useful to take time out and revise and summarise the basic concepts covered in grade 10. This serves as an excellent introduction to new concepts introduced in word-processing and spreadsheets. Databases (Access) is added as the third package.

- Gr 11 PAT
We recommend that one should rather wait a bit to start the Gr 11 PAT. We recommend that you begin with the PAT once you have done Queries and Reports and Surveys (part of Theme 3). The LO3 skills in Chapter 6.1 is essential preparation for the PAT.

It is not prescribed that this PAT must be done, but we recommend that you use this one in 2009! Check Pam's blog (studyopp.blogspot.com). She is also using this PAT and share her experiences on her blog.- The department will provide a new Gr 11 PAT for 2010.
